This passage created a great thoughts in my mind. Why is communism depicted in society as absolute equals?
Maybe the depiction of communism is what it is because of fear. Fear that capitalism will be destroyed and maybe it should be.
I think that, the story is showing us the results of a communism that has been ''twisted''. It is no longer communism since no one is free.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, communism is a really good idea (in theory) because it applies absolut equality to the society, which means no more poverty in the world, everyone has the same and they have equal opportunities. But, since communism has been used in a negative way, we've seen the results it has, totalitarianism, poverty, misery, etc. We can also say the same about capitalism, it creates equal opportunities for people to work and invest in order to grow. But a capitalism used negatively, will have a bad impact on society.
